</>Im looking at a 1988 Trooper on monday. Its a 4cyl 5 speed. 4x4.


Are there any common problems i should look for? Im buying a 4x4 for winter vehicle(i drive a miata as a DD) I do all my own work on my car so most things i can do my self. The truck has a blown headgasket and needs a clutch. Are either of those difficult fixes on these trucks?


Also how easy are parts found for these?

only major problem on that rig is a head gasket/ cracked head problem. they are prone to gasket problems. its an easy fix though. ive replaced several, it can be done in 1 day if you have the appropriate tools.
