New owners with questions
Hey all,
My mom recently gave me her 87 Trooper II. it has a few problems but lets start with the first. My sister had borrowed her truck and managed to break the crankshaft and 2 lifters. A "mechanic" helped my mom by fixing all of that, then added diesel fuel into the engine to flush out metal shavings. However, he never drained that fuel and never finished the job. So dropped in my lap is a truck that has diesel in the engine, how do I go about draining the diesel out, and what suggestions does anyone have about flushing the engine and getting on the way to making this truck run again? She's had the truck since 92 and has taken great care of it, so I'd like to restore her to her prior beauty. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks
