I need help with my radio. I took out the old radioof my 91 trooperand replaced it with a cd player. The removal of the cd player went smoothly and the hook up of the cd player went fine but i am not getting any power to the cd player. I then re-hooked up the radio and now that wont work. The wires look fine and i checked all the fuses, everything looks fine. Im stuck and dont know what to do. I thought someone might have had this problem and could offer some advice.

I am having the same damn problem, I have no idea man, I am just as lost as you...

 

The Ground wire coming off the new radio doesn''t line up with the old radio harness. You have to snip the ground wire coming off the radio and hook it to an un-painted bolt and screw it down then hook up the old harness to the new harness and it should work fine. Thats what i did and presto! i have music.
