i have a trooper made in august of 90.i cannot find a 3 or 12 pin plug to read the codes.my manual says it will be one of the two or black and white wires near the pick panel.what is that.can someone tell me where to find this plug and what it looks like?

 

absosecur - try your local Snap On Tools dealer or a local foreign car shop. I found one foreign car shop locally which has a Snap On OBD - I reader along with a set of connectors, one which fit my '91 Trooper.
