first of all...Thank God im not the only one who loves these trucks! I had an old 86 2.8 5 speed that refused to die till I got 75 feet of electric fence wire wraped around the transfer case output shaft. still ran in front wheel drive til it ran lean and burned a hole in #2 piston (or maybe it was the plug in the pcv port) and blew all the oil out the dipstick hole.

anyway now i have a 95 LS with a 3.2 dual can and an auto. the problem is it sat for 3 or 4 months and has a bad battery. well i got around to jumping it today and it started as fast as i expected but when i backed it out of the drive way i got a dash FULL of blinking lights! i cant remember them alll but i know the transfluid temp, both the power and winter drive, cruise manual, i think o2, and the anti theft. The when i went from reverse to drive it went about 10 feet and straight DIED! has anyone had a problem like this before? any ideas what happened? thanx in advance.
