My 2000 Rodeo has a check engine light that just came on. At the same time, the fuel gauge light is blinking. To top it all off, I just filled her up and the guage is moving up and down. My initial reaction would be that the sensor is out and just not reading the fuel amount correctly. But, people I have talked to on this have never heard of the check engine light coming on as well.


Does anyone have any experience with this or a similar problem? More importantly -- does anyone think it would be safe to drive for a while?

 

YOU NEED A NEW SENDING UNIT. ALSO ON SOME OF THESE THE PCM WILL NEED TO BE REPROGRAMMED. FOR THIS YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE IN TO YOUR LOCAL ISUZU DEALER.
