Hi,

new member here. My 1999 trooper has a broken dashboard temperature adjustment. You know, the one with the blue-to-red adjustment. For some reason, it broke recently and I am now stuck getting cold air. Well, that''s okay in the summer, but I sort of need to fix it now that winter''s on the way in.

First, what is the part called? Secondly, can I find the part online? Third, is it difficult to remove the dash to replace this?

Lastly, since my Trooper is getting a little up there now (170,000 mi. plus), guess I''ll need a good shop or repair manual. Any suggestions?
