ok ive got a 91 trooper 4x4 with the 2.8L v6 five speed manual its got 280,000 miles and when you get on the gas its like it loses power then gets it back over and over again ive replace the cap and rotor the plugs the plug wires the map sensor the egr valve pcv valve fuel filter but it is still doing it and i have no idea what to do next please help if you can or are you just as stumped as me

Might be an intermittent fuel pump issue...

have you checked the Throttle Position Sensor. I know this has been a problem with my Dad's 1994 Geo Tracker, but might give it a try. It would do the same thing, would press the gas and it would like stutter as you where driving, but once you got up to speed everything was fine, just only when starting out.
