89 V6 Engine Misfire
I've got an 1989 Trooper with the Chevy 2.8L V6 in it. I just recently had a re-manufactured engine put in and I've had problems every since.
I cannot get the engine to idle properly and it has low power. The mechanic I just last took it to said that I have one entire side of the engine (Cylinders 2,4,and 6) that do not work.
1) All cylinders have correct compression
2) All cylinders have spark
3) TBI is spraying properly
4) Timing has been set to factory
5) Plug wires are wired correctly
Is this a camshaft related issue? I can't think of any other reason that would cause this.
