Default 89 Isuzu troop has no power when we put in gear

truck runs and idles fine when we put it in gear boggs down and has no power. Changed fuel pump, fuel filtter, o2 sensor, tps, plugs, wires, rotor cap and cleaned injectors. when you rev engine in neutral delay until you get around 2500 rpms. dont know what to check next except mas air flow sensor? any ideas would help

First thing you need to do before you spend another dime is check the compression. I could've told you none of that other stuff was bad. Throwing money at these things is the worst approach.

once you verify your compression is near equal on all cylinders have a leak down test done to check your valve train. that should tel you where your compression is going .......if all is okay..........sometimes rev limiters are installed as an after market option to protect the engine during a free spin nuetral drop condition. as in NO BRAKE applied wheels in the air full throttle RPM without limiter will over rev and destroy the engine.

Absolute ******* nonsense again... you're ******* amazing man... aftermarket rev limiter??? Seriously? How many times have you suggested that today? And to how many different problems? You seriously think that this 24 year old truck has an aftermarket rev limiter installed on it?? You're about as dumfuk as they come...

Jony probably does not own a vehicle yet so ignore his abusive comments: rev limiter where an attempt to resolve the loss of engine when your foot goes to the floor during an emergency situation there are all kinds of them older usually means mechanical but not always some peple use what the have especially in remote locations with temporary repairs and fabirications

you are looking for something Odd and unusual correct?
an out of the ordinary vehicle condition that your stumped with?
don't ask Jony he will just call you names and expose his ignorance.
Isuzu's are great vehicles but they are not chevy's or ford's there is a different kind of structural science that the Japan motor companys use kind of like the difference between a broad sword and a fencing rapier.
where american motors build solid heavy over powered gas hoggs that sink directly to te bottm and drive out and over through shear power
the japan motor companies will do light weight fast and on top of the mess below like a water spider. like BAHA Bugs that is what I am stating.
think flex and bend and manuver not plow and dig.
