Hi,

just bought a previously-loved 2002 3.5L Trooper in mint condition. However I do not understand how to operate the arms rests, the manual is in German so not much use to me. The driver side arm rest appears to be stuck in the upright position. The passenger side one moves up but not down until it gets to the uppermost (vertical) orientation after which I can swing it all down. Is this how the driver side arm rest should operate too?

Any tips how troubleshoot the arm rest mechanism.
