2001 Trooper rear brake piston tool????
#1
I apologize. I’m sure this has been asked before but I am going nuts trying to find a suitable tool for rewinding the rear disk brake pistons, and not getting very far.
With my old '92 Troopers, I could use large needle nose pliers and a wrench. Doesn't seem to work with 2001.
Any help?????
Thanks, Bill

Thanks a bunch for the response. You were, of course, 100% right.
.
This is an example of a backyard mechanic (me) who didn’t get the latest manual. When I took off the rear wheel, the hub looked enough like the old “twist in and out” pistons like my old troopers had, that I assumed the same.
After reading your response, I just compressed the brake pistons with a “C” clamp and they went in easily.
Thanks, again, Bill
The Trooper's don't have the "twist in" type piston in the caliper
