How are the 3.5s in the troopers of 01? Found one that eats oil but that's common for anything close to 200k miles. Any advice??

 

Some years of the 3.5L are known for oil consumption. Mine down 1/2 qt when it's time for the 3500 mile oil change since it was new. It now has 84000 on it.
As long as it's not burning the oil.
Head gaskets are a fairly common problem.

And when we're the timing belts last changed? They're good for 80000 or so.
