Default Tran problem?

So I have a 2000 isuzu rodeo v6 automatic and when I'm driving, I accelerate and sometimes (I think the transmission) slips and it shakes the car then drives normal.
What is the problem? Is it expensive to fix?

I know stuff about fixing cars but would I need to let a more experienced mechanics handle it.

Have you had a transmission service lately? Does it do this phenomena everytime at the same shift point? Sometimes it is only a matter of a service, changing the filter, and adding the proper amount of lubricant for that motor (check your manual).

Its the range sensor/position sensor. Go down and take it off and clean it.

I had the same issue before.
