Tire Jack bar replacement
#1
I have a 99 Rodeo, and I need help finding a replacement handle bar that connects to the small tire jack found in the trunk. Normally it'd be placed securely under the back seat according to the manual, but it's not there. I tried finding it online, but no luck.

Your only choices are going to be dealer ($), salvage yard, or find someone parting out a 2nd gen rodeo. One part of mine was missing when I bought my rodeo and had no luck with the local salvage yards. The ones here dont let you walk around, they just look at their computer and since it isnt a tracked part they have no clue if they have it. Luckily the part I was missing was just the bar thats flat on both ends so was able to make my own easily.
There are 3 parts, 2 bars that slide together, and the lug wrench which is used as a crank.

Hmm. that's unfortunate . I guess I will check out my local salvage yard. I do know for a fact that they let you walk around. I thank you for the idea.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";
