My daughters 96 Rodeo is kicking my butt. A few weeks ago the blower motor stopped working, I checked the fuses, all good , I replaced the blower motor, nothing, I replaced the blower motor resistor, nothing, I replaced the entire AC/Heater control panel with a new one from ISUZU, nothing. I am not getting voltage to the blue/white wire going to the blower motor, also the AC button does not light up when pushed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";

Any idiot lights on the dash? I know if the alternator starts going bad it will automatically cut any 'unnecessary' equipment which the blower motor and a/c are considered.

Nope no idiot lights on and everything else seems to fine.

I'd grab a service manual and start looking for voltage going into the control panel, then follow it back to the ignition if needs be. I've got a 96 also.. I can tell you they're all a bit prone to strange electrical problems. Fortunately the only one I've had yet had to do with the switch on the automatic transmission shifter that disables the starter relay; fairly easy to troubleshoot and wire around. Good luck!

Problem solved and I feel like an idiot. Under the hood in the relay box is a relay marked HEATER........ guess what I pulled that one out and found a replacement and now the blower motor is fine....< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";

Yea you'll probably spend a bit of time in that relay box over the years. I should've probably mentioned that. You mentioned the blower, resistor, etc. so I figured you already checked it. Call it a foregone conclusion
