I have a 2000 Rodeo LES 4WD with the Intelligent Suspension Control(ISC). I just finished replacing front wheel bearings and left front axle. Since completion, the ISC warning light comes on and stays on. I know the sensor on top of the shock is connected so I assume it has to do with replacing the axle. Is it just a matter of resetting the sensor and if so how do I do that?

 

I'm interested to see that answer,too. I had the same thing happen after I had some issues with my wheel bearings. The light came on and stayed on. And out of curiosity, have you checked your fuse for it? I haven't checked mine yet so that could be a place to start, I suppose.

 

Hello neighbor I'm in Delray. My issue also started with a bad wheel bearing; I ended up having to replace the axle as a result. I suspected that it was just a matter of resetting the sensor/indicator circuit but no one could tell me how to do it. So I ended up paying one of the online car experts. He told me that if the axle was removed the sensor would assume a problem and would trigger the warning light. However, he said only the dealer could reset the thing. I know everything is OK so I'm going to live with it until and if I have to go to the dealer for something else. If you learn something different please let me know.

just to update the thread - anybody ever found out how to reset the ISC? tired of that mystery talk about "only the dealer can do it" - they are only humans as well, only difference they know how! Pass it on for crying out loud!
