Hi all, I am new here so forgive me if this is in the wrong place. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone... Or if someone knows what I will need to do to get this fixed.

I have a 1995 Rodeo with a V6, Manual 5 speed. I was at the store the other day, went to put it in reverse to back out of a parking space and the gears just totally locked up. It is now stuck in 4th gear and will not budge out of it. It had been just fine up to this point. The clutch is good and it shifted like normal before I tried to put it in reverse that one time. If anyone has had this problem or knows what may have happened here, I would love to get some info before I take it in to get it fixed and someone charges me for a full rebuild when it could be something simple.
