Does anyone know where the mode selector switch is located? i put a genysis computer on my rodeo (no tech II info) and while going through everything and looking at my transmission park neutral reverse etc etc etc reverse shows reverse on the scan tool however when i put it in drive it shows POD32 the transmission will not shift out of first gear "I AM GUESSING" that because it reads its in every gear but first gear it will not shift again GUESSING any and all information on this would be greatly appreciated

Is the mode switch located in the computer itself? or on the transmission?? i just hate to pay 1100 bucks for a rebuilt transmission just to find out it was a 100 dollar switch

Its on the side of the transmission.

Here is a post about it and how to clean it. Sometimes they still dont work and need replaced but cleaning first only costs you some time.
