Lock cylinder pushed into the door

like it says, the cylinder you put the key into for the driver's side door has become detached from the handle assembly and i believe it's just inside the door now.
need some guidance on how to remove the inner door panel so i can take a look at what's going on and if it's something i can fix without needing new handle assemblies.
