Idler Pulleys (Timing)
Vehicle: 2001 Rodeo 2.2 DOHC
T-Belt broke due to a faulty idler pulley. Idler that broke is on right side. (If looking at engine idler that broke is on left.)
Ordered both idlers from dealer. I received a Qty. of 2 pulleys.
BOTH reading Part No. 8-09128738-0
I was hoping someone could tell me where to find a list of part numbers for this vehicle. As the pulley that broke appears to differ from the one that did not. There is a metal bracket where both idlers bolt up. And one side allows the idler to bolt up flush with the bracket. The other side protrudes out about an inch or so.
Thanks in advance.

You can go to www.myisuzuparts.com to find parts and part numbers. Now for the idler pulleys, they are the same just one is flipped. Now the bad news, the isuzu 2.2l engine is an interference engine meaning when the belt breaks it will bend valves and also crack the valve guides, it has also been known to crack pistons (might not be seen but will cause failure later). When I was with an Isuzu dealer and had a 2.2 with a broken belt we replaced the engine.
