2002 3.2L can't align camshafts help
replaced broken timing belt...got it to start but stll not right...all alignment
procedures talks about 9 revolutions worst case...why do each
side line up on marks every 4 rotation...does anyone have correct procedure??? thanks

You will need to time the engine as follows....
Align the notch on the back of the crank gear with the mark on the oil pump housing (3oclock position)
Next you will need to rotate clockwise the right cam gear until the mark "springs" at the 12oclock position. (the marks should be lined up)
Now rotate clockwise the left cam gear (driver side) until the mark "springs" at the 9oclock position then rotate it clockwise up to the 12oclock position (line up the gaer mark with the mark on the valve cover)
Install the belt and you should be good.
