Help ! I’m about to hire a Rodeo Camper

I have to make a snappy decision about hiring an Isuzu Rodeo Camper and I need the help of some learned Isuzu folk. I live in Japan :
1. Is hiring a Rodeo Camper for 2 weeks insane ?
2. Just 2 of us - should I take the 2200 or the 2800 (aircon + WC difference known) ?
3. Are they being made currently, am I about to hire an old crate ?
4. Any idea on fuel (diesel) consumption ?
5. Any other info / dos / donts ?

Please cancel my last question. I have decided NOT to proceed with the camper hire as the vehicles were more than 10 yrs old and any breakdowns were at my own expense ! Seemed like a poor deal.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";
