okay this is my story!

i have a 1994 isuzu rodeo 3.2L v6its was sitting in my driveway for 3yrs i would turn it on but i never drove it around

last week i decided to drive it so i did a tune up

Spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, the whole nine i put afuel system cleaner in there and filled it up with 93 octane!

okay this is the problem im having

i take off with no problem but when i decide to floor it it looses all power and doesnt accelerate but when i let the pedal up a little it gains power again but not alot

when i rev it high in neutral or park black smoke comes out of the exhuast im assumin the o2 is probaly bad and is making the ecu dump more fuel

i know it has to bea stupid sensor but i have no CEL so how would i know where to look

How old is the gas in it? Old gas doesnt burn very well and will do that. Use good quality gas, dump a can of seafoam (available at most parts stores in the gas/oil addatives section) in the tank. Might need to clean the throttle body.

i put a fuel system cleaner in it when the tank was on E and i filled it up...

i sprayed t/b with carb cleaner and watched the build up wash away

i bought electronic cleaner and cleaned out ever sensor above the intake mani

i will try seafoam today

do i just pour it in tank?

i heard of people sucking it in threw vacumn?

Seafoam in the gas tank will clean the injectors. If you suck it in through the vacuum line it will clean the intake valves and piston tops. I always put 1/2 can in the oil before an oil change (drive about 20 minutes city driving with it in there), and the other 1/2 in the gas tank.

okay i seafoamed thru vaccumn house

a sh*t load of white smoke came out...

i poured the other half in gas tank

i must say it ran good!

when i refueled it ran like sh*t once again!

some people are telling me to change o2 sensor but im concerned the injectors are clogged?

i know it has to bea stupid sensor but i have no CEL so how would i know where to look.

The Factory Service Manual will show you where and how. It has a complete troubleshooting flowchart for just about everything that could go wrong. I have the manual for the 1994 (my Rodeo is a 4cyl, 2WD, stick) but it covers all 1994 & 1995 Rodeos.

But I have the Factory Service Manuals for all my vehicles except this ''''08 Santa Fa the wife just bought. I''''ll get that one from the dealer in a few months.
