Hard-to-Find `94 Amigo Gas Tank Seal
Howdy - Haven't checked-in lately, so I hope that everyone has weathered all the confusion- & Frustration surrounding COVID.
I'm the original owner of a 1994 Isuzu Amigo (XS Trim) 4WD 5-speed, and I could Use Your HELP finding new "Fuel Tank Roll Over Safety Valve" Gaskets (actually grommets - OE Part # 8942463382) which fit through 2 holes in the TOP corners of the gas tank. These valves hald gas flow if the vehicle tips- or rolls over.
Before putting the Amigo into long-term storage at the start of COVID Shut-Downs, I'd filled-up the gas tank (evidently with water-contaminated gas); as always, I added STA-BILE Fuel Stabilizer, and a bottle of "Water-Chaser". But that "Water-Chaser" wasn't enough, because when I wanted to drive it back in December, it wouldn't start-or run, I had it towed to my shop - where they found that RUST had `killed' both the in-tank fuel pump and the fuel-level sender. Disassembling the tank for cleaning damaged one of the "Tank Roll Over Safety Valve" gaskets so I expected to replace them Both...but I've tried EVERY Fuel Tank Repair shop, On-Line Isuzu Parts Depo, & ebay, etc. - but they're NOWHERE to be found, .
Does anyone here have a lead for these `Seals'/`grommets' ?
Thank you in Advance,
Neil C in SoCal.
