Ok, so i went to put my 6 1/2 inch infinity kappas in the front doors of my 99 rodeo today. I found out that they are too big; however, infinities speaker size selector and cardomains speakers size selector both say that an isuzu rodeo has 6 1/2 inch stock speakers in the front. On crutchfield it says that the front stock speakers are not 6 1/2 or 5 1/4, they are somewhere inbetween. So, what has everyone else done? Did you put in 5 1/4's or did you do some cutting and put 6 1/2's in

I think alot of ppl trim and put in 6.5's. I need to replace mine eventually and have never found out exactly what size to use. I know different years had different sizes.

i have a 98 rodeo and i have replaced all speakers and i found that the size of the speakers in the front is 6 1/2 the only problem i came across with installing was the depth the width fit in perfect i also had to take my dremel and do some grinding of the speaker cover to make it fit. the best fit i could find in my vehicle was pansonics.

Wow, well im glad you got yours to fit cus mine was a pain in the butt. I ended up doing quite a bit of cutting to make the opening larger. If anyone is thinking about putting 61/2 infinity kappas in their 99 rodeo, have good sharp carpet knife ready.
