I have a 1994 Rodeo, the body is beat to hell. I have the option of getting a 2000 Rodeo that has a ruined engine. Can anyone tell me if it would work to put the engine from the 94 in the body of the 2000?

 

Been there, wont work, different engines, not sure why.

 

You can get a list on any used parts website that shows the interchangeable motors for the Rodeo. You must specify of course the 3.2 l. I believe there was a big change in the mounts and in the exhaust around 1996-1997. Not hard to check. A 2000 motor is way too new.

 

I have a 94 del sol s. Not a Si just a S. 1.5L Sohc 5sp manual trans. Non Vtech. I want to do an engine swap. Now I don't know what will fit into my engine bay, and or what will fit my trans.. I would like to go to a B16 or even maybe a B18 if possible.
