Computer Question and a Problem Solved
Hi...new guy,
First, want to know if a 2001 Rodeo LS, 3.2V6, has a replaceable computer performance chip? I found where one can be bought at one site, and on another site it says they don't come with replaceable chips(About $70), instead they need a replacement kit (About $250). Any experience in this area?
TIA
Problem solved - probably old hat to you guys, but I found that my consant "Check Engine" light was because the gas cap was not tight enough after filling up. It suggests 3 clicks, but it takes about 5-6 in my case to prevent the light. If it stays on, it goes away shortly or after next restart.
