I am trying to verify that some Rodeo's came with a clock installed in the middle of the dash up close to the windshield. I have a 91' Rodeo and I want to install a factory clock in that location and the dealer is telling me that I can only get a transmission indicator there. I don't believe them.

 

Hi, I won't say you can't put a clock there, however I can honestly tell you that It is true that spot on 1991 Rodeos was made for the following instrument, Automatic Transmission indicator, warning light, winter light, and (Power). All you have to do is be creative and get the filler plug out of yours, find you an appropriate clock to put in that spot, Look in any type car, use the plug piece to act as a frame around the clock, then of course rout the neccessary wires took hook it up! wish i wwere there to help tis my pote' Good Luck!!

 

i have seen people make spots like that bigger and install small tv monitors...you can, in theory, put anything you want there!
