a/c compressor cuts off! i have power to the relay's and if i straight (hot jump wire) the compressor the clutch will engauage and work fine,but it will not work on its own.is there somekind of temp. switch that supplies power to the compressor. i have power everywhere except to the compressor!thank you for your help!!

 

How is the refrigerant level. If the pressure switch is activated, by a lack of system refrigerant, the compressor will not engage to prevent damage by a lack of refrigerant and oil.
