Not worth it. Much cheaper and easier to sell it and buy a 4x4.

Getting everything for a 4x4 and putting it on the 4x2 will be about the same cost as doing a solid axle. Doing all the work and fabrication yourself it would be around 3-4 grand for a solid axle install.
