96 rodeo blowing ac fuses

96 rodeo blowing ac fuses
I have a 96 rodeo and it just started blowing the fuse. A new fuse will last about 2-3 miles then it blows. It has 152k on it but still runs great. Anybody have any idea what might be going on?

Ac fuse blows
Connect a dc amp meter in line with air con fuse,
turn ac compressor on and see what the current draw is!
If it's in excess of fuse rating then there isa short somewhere; wiring, defective ac clutch winding?
