I have a 97 Rodeo and the blue vsv(vacuum switching valve)was not working. The front axle was staying in 4WD. The part was $180 at the dealer! If you are careful I found you can take these valves apart and clean them. After it is remove the metal bracket can be removed and the metal end can be pulled out. There is only one moving part inside and a spring. It is nothing more than an electro magnet. I cleaned the corrosin off of everything (becareful the little part that move has a small piece of rubber on the endof it to seal the ports) and reassembled it. It works just like new. Becareful with the little tangs on the bracket. They look like they can be broken very easy. Hope this helps someone.
