2004 Isuzu Rodeo Fuel Pump Fuse Keeps Blowing
For a while I had an issue while starting my car, it would randomly take longer to start the engine. Wasn't causing any issues while driving so I ignored it until one day the engine just completely shut off while I was driving. After replacing a blown fuse for my fuel pump the car started without any trouble and ran fine until about a mile down and the engine shut off again. I replaced the fuel pump fuse again and was able to get home and tried running the engine between 1-2 rpm and the same thing happened again. A friend mentioned that this could mean that I might have a short with the fuel pump or wiring issues. I'm not experienced with cars so I could use all the help that I can get at this point. Has anyone had this experience with their fuel pump fuse, and what steps can I take, on my own, to diagnose the source of this issue?
