2001 Rodeo 4x4 smaller turn radius?
Hi
I have had my 2001 V6 Rodeo LS for about a year now and have always been wondering this.
When I make sharp turns without 4-wheel drive enabled the turn radius seems normal for any SUV. But when I have 4-wheel drive enabled, the turn radius is significantly decreased, making parallel parking impossible. Then when I try and turn sharper with 4-wheel enabled it feels like something is rubbing and the wheels do not spin as fast.
The sway bar had been broken and was dangling down for many months, so I figured this was the issue, but I recently got that repaired. The issue is the same.
I am wondering if this is a normal issue with a 2001 Rodeo? Or could there be something else wrong besides the sway bar?
I am no expert in cars. The closest I have come to car repairs is adding neon lights to my low rider in Need For Speed...
Thanks for your help
