1999 Rodeo LS 2 ABS issue

I have read several posts regarding the ABS light (which mine is now glowing). I crawled under the truck and was attempting to locate the rear sensor with no luck. Is it on top of the differential? How can I be sure I have the correct connector?
Thanks

Yes its on top of the differential. There will be a plug there then the wiring runs up the drivers side upper link and connects into the main harness. Some have said there is a connector there, others have said its spliced in at several places and the splices corrode.

Well - found it NOT!. The connector between the ABS sensor on top of the differential and the cable that runs back along the frame was loose. I reseated that, but the error continued. Did continuity test across the connector and contact was good. Moved on to tracing the wire back along the frame. Found it by the drivers rear wheel. Did some investigation and sure enough there are some wires taped up!. I figured I had it as a bad splice! Cut out the splice and created new ones. Light still came on!
Took the dash apart, pulled the bulb, removed the relay from under the hood and said forget about it! From all the posts about ABS and all the other possible issues I figured I will call it a day!

Well deben2859, I had the same issue in my '92 Rodeo. I solved it by changing the hydraulic unit...it's a valve just beside the speed sensor connection mid way the chassis. It's a expensive part.
