I just purchased two packages of complete bedsheets and pillow cases, 100% cotton, 200 thread per inch.I always wash sheets before using. These sheets were laundered alone. While hanging them on clothes racks in my kitchen, I had tons of cotton dust from them. There was a film of dust across the kitchen floor, table, everywhere it was like a cloud in the air when you shook the sheets/pillowcases. I have never seen this before with cotton sheets. Anyone out there know what this is about?

 

it usually happens when it is laundered and comes back after laundry. there is nothing to worry about this.

I am not sure how high quality you are looking for, but I have gotten them at Ross. Of course they are a little imperfect but inexpensive.
