I am new to the forum. Thanks in advance for any help/input.

I have no car at the moment. And need to buy something in the next week or so.

I am looking at mid-90's Rodeos. All I can spend is about $1,500.

I have always thought of Isuzus as being a dependable make. Is that true?

Can anyone tell me the life expectancy of a mid 90's Rodeo with 150-200k miles on it? ...if it is in reasonable condition.

Are there common ailments to theses vehicles?...

What specifically should I look at as a sign of impending catastrophic breakdown??

I am aware that cars in my price range will need work. I am very mechanical and can work on cars, but am trying to find something that could make 6-12 months without needing too much at right off the bat.
