I have a 88 trooper2 2.6 4wd 4cyl and it wont idle till its warm and when i try to drive it after its warm i can barely give it any gas if i floor it or give it to much gas it just bogs down and wonts to die i cant really get it over like 50 mph its really starting to **** me off i cant figure out whats wrong any one know whats wrong please help me.......thanks bstsr[img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img]

What have you tried thus far. This can be a number of problems. Shange the fuel filter, air filter, plugs, and wires, to start with. Next you need a carb adjustment. When you get the improvement from the new plugs and wires you can adjust the idle and fuel\air mixture. Let us know how things go.

I know very very little about these things but was having similar probs with my 3.0turbo diesel until it broke down completely recently. don`t know if yours has turbo or not . If it has be careful</span> as I think mine has blown (awaiting diagnosis of my mechanic).
