Flashing 4x4 light

Hi I have a flashing 4x4 light on my dash when I put my trooper into 4x4 mode, as I understand this light should not flash continuously and if it does it indicates a fault. Could you please advise.

Your 4x4 Issue

When pushing the 4 wheel drive button the vehicle has to be moving from a speed below 10mph for it to engage if you flip your driver side visor down it has instructions on how to operate it. Hopefully this helps!
