Hi Everone
Can anybody help, I was attemting to jump the Trooper(2.9tdi 1992) off and stupidily connected the battery the wrong way round!!! Doh! and now even with a fully charged battery theres absolutly nothing, no lights on dash nothing, can anyone suggest anything, I thought perhaps it might be a relay? but not sure how to check this thanks for any help

 

When you hook up jumper cables to another car do your light work then. If yes then you have fried your battery.

 

hi thanks for reply,tried that but still dead&old batt holds charge okdont know where to look next?

 

you may have also burnt out your ground

time to replace the terminals!
