DPD 2000 Isuzu Forward

We are having a problem with the dpd system on a 2000 model isuzu forward. So far we have replaced the completely clogged particulate filter, siezed flap, and tempeture sensors. We have also (under the advisement of another source) removed the exhaust cooler. After which the truck has been working fine for a few months now, but it has not solve our issue. Every few days the engine and dpd light are coming back on and going back in to "limp mode" and the vehicle will not go through the regeneration process completely of its own. This truck has had this issue since it was purchased and we can not figure out why. We are exploring the fact that it may have a problem with its ecu, but i'm looking for futher advice before we take that step.
