Hi everybody glad to be a part of the Forum. I just bought a 2000 Rodeo 3.2 litre 4 by 4 5 speed. I seem to be having a lagging issue between 1200 and 2000 RPM with a about a 50% loss. happening frequently as well as stalling when I stop. So far from what I have researched I'm being told it's the EGR valve getting stuck. Or it could also be the mass air flow sensor. Also due to the rough shape of the exhaust I do believe an O2 sensor near the catalytic converters could be causing a misdiagnosis from the computer to the air-fuel mixture combined with the EGR and mass air flow sensor. I have not bothered to do a tune-up because I'd like to rule out all cost efficient Solutions before investing. Also thinking of deleting the EGR completely and just capping it.
