1993 Trooper SOHC... Takes about 5 seconds to lazily startup - runs fine on the road, but minutes into a climb off road, and it starts sputtering like crazy to the point where if I touch the gas, it wants to stall.


Thoughts?

Ok... so after verifying that all cylinders get spark... I was putting things back together when i hear this moaning sound coming from the charcoal canister. Upon further inspection i found i could reproduce the sound by blowing through the valve thing mounted on the side of the canister. Also when i put it back... The truck started up quick and ran strong.... Wtf?


Question.. What's this valve thing called?
