Looking at getting code reader for my 98 Rodeo. Whats a good one, but inexpensive that's available.

 

Hi. Did you ever get a good code reader ?
I've been searching for a while now. Bought an Elm 327 (supposed to be compatible with Isuzu)

Plugged in but got running data but no codes.
Tried again now message says reader isn't plugged in.
