a/c vibrating noise

[img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]has anyone encountered their a/c making a vibrating noise while it is running? mine does. after i turn the a/c off by pressing the button, it stops. i havent been able to figure out what it is. if i am driving it doesnt make noise, it just does it when i am coming to a stop. can anyone help me with that problem it is very annoying. thanks

what vehicle and how old? do you use your AC all the time?

ok..try this....leave the AC button off, and turn the defroster on to full blast...and see if the noise happens...if so, it is the compressor.
