92 Isuzu Rodeo starter on wrong side
Hi, I have a 92 Isuzu Rodeo (originally 5-speed), and I got screwed over by a mechanic who swapped the engine and tranny from a 92 isuzu truck. But the transmission was an electronic automatic so it wouldn't run correctly. Anyway, I have the original manual out of my car, and I was trying to see if I could swap it again. But the starter is on the drivers side on the engine, and the notch on the bell housing is on the passenger side.
My question is, is there anything that I can do to easily fix it? For instance, swapping the transmission bell housing for one that has the starter notch on the drivers side?
I want to put my manual back in it if possible...
Any help is greatly appreciated!
