Hi I just pulled a motor out of a 99 amigo 3.2.I bought this truck with motor seized.The guy I bought it from took it to jiffy lube and they never put oil back in .I pulled motor and dropped the pan.The motor was so clean inside it looked like it had just been put together.To my surprise(i was looking for spun bearing) the crank right after the first connecting rod broke in half.I was wondering if any body else ever had a crank break on a 3.2.The bearings weren't scored up that bad and I didn't even get my hands dirty taking apart the internals it was so clean.Did these motors have crank problems?
