Default 1996 Trooper will not start

This was a decent running vehicle until I let it sit for a few months. We've done a few tests. I was told it could be the Camshaft sensor or the module (?) but Scanner gave a code saying the Crankshaft sensor is bad. Where is the crankshaft sensor? On another vehicle I had, it was directly behind the crankshaft pulley but I'm not finding this one. We're getting gas but it won't continue running without starter fluid being sprayed into the throttle body. Any ideas?
