Isuzu 4ez1 Rodeo (1996) Ignition Timing Lock question
Hi everyone,
Ive done a search but cant seam to find any info for this.
I don't have the factory manual as it got wet and is no longer of any use.
I had the engine replaced not long ago by a auto dismantler, it was running rough so i advanced the distributor. It now runs smoother but no where near perfect, I need to know which conector or wires i need to bridge etc to get the ECU to lock the timing so i can correctly set the base advance on the distributor.
I don't want to remove timing covers, etc etc. Id rather bridge a connector and do it correctly. I can't see any vac lines running to the distributor so i assume its electornically controlled.
Any help would be great,
Thanks
